Breechy Keen

Phew! Has it really been 11 weeks since Donovan entered the world?!? Hard to believe. I only vaguely remember life before he was born. He is sound asleep in his crib, and this is first time I've had energy and time to post. It's going to be short and rough 'cause were heading to MI in a couple a days and I have a lot to do!!

So much has happened, here's a quick summary: On 9/02/10 (90210!!) baby Donovan John Alexander entered the world via au natural vaginal birth (no IV, no asprin, no nothin') and he did it balls first! Our Dr., midwives and nurses were very impressed with his birth. We were the talk of the hospital-- and little did I know, half of the (very small) hospital's staff was in the room watching! It's a funny feeling suddenly becoming aware of your surroundings and realizing that there 20 people staring at you. His little feet were stuck up by his ears for a few hours. We were instantly in love.

The little guy is growing SO fast-- 14lbs 4oz at his 2mos check up. He makes such cute noises and smells so good.

Being a parent is the most amazing experience.
